πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈRe US election: All this talk about the "economic effect" of whoever wins misses the bigger danger to the people of Aotearoa - one of the candidates models & emboldens all of the lying, covering up, enabling of vested interests, denigrating of those who disagree etc. etc., and one of them DOESN'T πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ It is already quite evident that the 3-headed-Taniwha/Coalition-of-Cruelty/Coalition-of-Cockwombles have modelled their attitude to democracy and their roles as "leaders" on what they have seen Drumpf & his enablers get away with until now🀬, & a return to that in the US will embolden the worst of the worst to go even further here - just sayin' 🀒

πŸ’― percent. The rise of fascism is happening in broad daylight. Interesting the Democratic vote didn't turn out. But having read that up to 400 voting booths have disappeared in some swing states - which inadvertently impacts Democratic voters if they actually need to rely on transport and don't have a car (!) - should we be surprised? The US has always been inward looming when it comes to trade. No surprises it'll only get tougher under the convicted narcissist's regime.

πŸ€”πŸ˜±I would be sure th 400 voting booths disappearing in Democratic strongholds was NOT "inadvertent" & over the next 4 years voter suppression measures like this will escalate. Are there enough guardrails to protect the US democracy? Scary eh πŸ˜₯🀬

True that my bad! Yep Dem strongholds or where there was over 50 per cent Black population. I can't remember the state off the top of my head but apparently 5 of the 6 booths gone in one county from last election.
