Regardless whether the ceasefire holds (and I hope like hell that it does), it shouldn't be viewed as anything less than an abject failure of American diplomacy. The terms are essentially the same as those that were supposedly agreed to months ago but which Tel Aviv walked out on and should have been made at any point. Every 'red line' that Washington imposed - such as the refusal of aid entry into Northern Gaza -was none of the threatened consequences ever coming to pass (besides the brief pausing of unguided bombs). Their staunch support for the Netanyahu's cabinet of wanna-be fascists has isolated the US internationally and has been so unpopular with the majority of the American public that it lost his party the election. The mental gymnastics they've put themselves through to call this a success is truly impressive.
