I hope for the sake of the people of Tauranga this latest decision to ride rough-shod over the advice of the person who would have the most in-depth perspective (one of their own in Ms Tolley) and blow past a mixed-model and a graduated return to fully elected members, does not return to the dysfunction of the past.
