Just been in the UK and Spain for 3 weeks, everyone takes contactless payments, no-one charges extra for the privilege. Maybe that means the fees are already incorporated into the prices?
Re Visa etc. fees - big YES from me, & also how to change providers? I should ask Consumer as I am a member 😁🤷♀️
On the Abuse in Care front - I am aware of a mentally disabled person who was abused, & went on to abuse others because he was "taught" that is "normal" behaviour. They weren't a witness in the Inquiry because of diminished health, but I do wonder how much ripple effect this horrific chapter has had. We will wait to see if it is addressed in the report - but could be worth one of the Spinoffs excellent followups?

Would love to see a bit of digging into fees - surely just ticket clipping for the most part!
Would be really good to look into the fees charged by Visa and Mastercard
Agree, love to know about the fees, particularly why every shop seems to charge a different % amount
