A wealth tax is the go to for any millennial that feels that hard work and dedication are not enough and that they deserve a share vow what the majority of people have worked for years to accumulate.

For one, it is ridiculously difficult to calculate and to try and enforce will end up costing more. Than the benefit. It is a typical liberal left wing grab at votes , and we know they can never deliver on their so called ideas.

The real issue is the fundamental difference in the left wing and conservatives. The left wing can’t help themselves but to gorge at the trough of free money, after all they can print as much as they want without consequence. Multiple committees and consultants enriching themselves while real anew Zealanders end up paying for it with higher taxes.

Get rid of the endless beuarocracies and there will not be a requirement for new taxes, unless you want to start on the bloated welfare system.
