Also, neither party (actually ANY party) refusing to acknowledge that we are simply a nation of undertrained, under-proficient, under-examined shit drivers. Simeon, you can bleat on all you like about drugs and alcohol but the fact remains you can get your full licence in your late teens and not be trained or tested again till you’re elderly.

I also think the 'sporting' mentality has a great deal to do with it. 'Fun' to be had pretending to be 'Possum Bourne' whilst travelling to-and from work / pub / dealer. Oh, and that obeying road-rules is sucking-up to 'the man'.

Neither party dealing with the 500mil the climate commission has highlighted will be needed to be spent on extra credits to meet our Paris obligations

Oh yeah, that’s yearly, and the cheapest estimate, the highest being 23b total by 2030. Once the poorest become unable to afford to drive & there is no national public transport system imagine the bangers on the road especially since National plan to repel the only form of emissions control on vehicles

And let’s ditch those pesky reduced speed limits (which will have a considerable effect on emissions, but the trucking lobby groups say do it so yay)
