I would like to see more publicity for the Greens. It's my impression that across all the media I read, that the Greens are the least represented which is odd given their current position in Government. There are three years worth of voters who have turned 18 since the previous election, many of whom will be who are concerned about climate change and may have an unexpected impact on the election. Its my belief that media can sway the course of an election by over or under representing parties. Just a thought🙂
Waikato Uni pays Steven Joyce a million for consultancy, gets 300 million promise from National for a medical school. Vice chancellor ("vice"-lol!) Quigley is also Chairman of the Board of RBNZ.
Neither of these positions is compatible with political partizanship, so two serious conflicts of interest.
Also explains the drivel that comes out of Waikato's dept of economics.
Aye, gotta feel sorry for the poor saps that wasted their higher ed. opportunity on an orthodox economics degree. Might as well have studied Astrology- less damage potential. I believe Akl does a postgrad in heterodox economics but prob better to go in with a not-economics Batchelor's though.
